From our hives at Mt Nicholas to your doorstep — we’ll do our best to get your honey buzzing its way to you as quickly as we can!

We are a small family business based at Mt Nicholas Station. While we love living in such a beautiful and remote place, it does mean that getting orders on their way to you takes a little more planning than it might for a business in town.

We aim to pack and send your order as soon as we can, usually within a few working days. As we live remotely, there may occasionally be a little extra time before your order leaves us, particularly when weather or access makes getting to town difficult. Once your order is with the courier, delivery times will depend on your location.

We carefully pack every order to make sure your honey arrives safely and in the same beautiful condition as it left us.

Please note that we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, as our courier service requires a physical delivery address.

Please make sure your delivery address is correct when placing your order. If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible at info@nics.co.nz‍ ‍and we’ll do our best to help.

Shipping costs

Flat-rate shipping applies to orders within New Zealand, with different rates for the North Island and South Island. Shipping costs will be shown at checkout.

Rural deliveries attract an additional rural delivery charge, which will be added to the standard shipping cost.

Offshore islands: Additional freight charges may apply to Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island, Chatham Islands and Stewart Island and other locations. Please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm the shipping cost.

International orders

At this stage, we only ship honey within New Zealand. Sorry to our overseas honey lovers — hopefully one day!
